This page is maintained by the Hit Checkout team to explain what data the app handles and how. Hit Checkout is designed to keep personal data to the minimum needed to give you good recommendations and sync your history across your devices.
To generate a verdict or try-on image, your submitted photos and text are sent to third-party AI providers via a hosted gateway. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train foundation models. Providers may briefly retain payloads to operate their service, subject to their own policies.
Account, profile, history, wishlist, and wardrobe data are stored on our managed backend (Lovable Cloud). Wardrobe photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only to you when signed in. Some data (like a local history) is also cached in your browser for offline use.
The app uses cookies and local storage required for sign-in and to remember your preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Hit Checkout is not directed to children under 13. Please don't use the service or create an account if you're below the minimum age in your jurisdiction.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
